Often described as “Mylar,” metallized materials are becoming more popular in flexible packaging for their moderate barrier qualities and lower cost. For products requiring a better barrier than poly, but not quite as good as foil, metallized bags and pouches are the perfect fit. Sizes range from 4 oz. to 8 lb. All sizes have zippers included for resealability. Tear notches are applied in the prime location to allow enough room for sealing while still leaving space above the zipper to reopen the bags.
