The PLA (polylactic acid) liner in these bags is a corn-based film product and along with the kraft paper, it is 100% compostable. The PLA-lined bags are heat sealable and some are reclosable with tin ties pre-attached. The low-haze clear window (only available in 1 lb.) allows your product freshness to be shown at its most natural state. The statement printed on the bottom of these bags lets consumers know that this is definitely a green product. For environmentally conscious consumers, this is a great eco-friendly alternative.
